3-Day Tour from Ouarzazate to the Sahara Desert

Depart from Ouarzazate towards Agdz, travelling through the landscapes of southern Morocco. Discover the beautiful Draa Valley, with its traditional kasbahs and palm groves stretching along a route of more than 200 km.

Continue to Zagora, followed by a visit to Tamgroute, a village renowned for its Quranic library, traditional pottery workshops, and underground lanes and passages.

Continue towards the Ouled Brahim palm grove, then cross the desert landscapes of the Reg of Elfaija on your way to Mhamid El Ghizlane.

Arrive in Mhamid and settle into the desert camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the bivouac.

After breakfast, enjoy an approximately one-hour camel ride to discover the desert landscapes around Mhamid.

The adventure continues by 4x4 along a sandy track through the vast Sahara, heading towards the great dunes of Chegaga.

Stop for lunch in the shade of palm trees or tamarisk trees, surrounded by desert landscapes.

Arrive at the Chegaga dunes and settle into the desert camp. Enjoy a beautiful sunset over the golden dunes.

Spend the evening in a nomadic atmosphere, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a tent or under the stars.

After breakfast, leave Chegaga by 4x4 and travel across desert tracks towards the former Lake Iriqui.

Cross vast Saharan landscapes and the former Draa riverbed, with possible stops to take photos and enjoy the panoramic views.

Continue to Foum Zguid, then travel towards Taznakht, known in particular for its traditional crafts and carpets.

Continue the journey to Ouarzazate through the landscapes of southern Morocco.

Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, bringing your tour to an end.
